Issues and Activities:
- Support area Caregiver Support Programs.
- Publication of CLS INFO-LINE.
- Identify barriers to recreation and the support of area programs.
- Promotion of the inclusion of seniors from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
- Membership events and social gatherings.
Goals and Objectives:
- To advocate on behalf of older adults from a seniors perspective.
- To provide a forum for a collective voice that is both diverse and inclusive.
- To strengthen relations and collaborate with existing services, activities and organizations.
- To facilitate education for older adults and to exchange information with the community and all levels of government.
The Council for London Seniors is a member of the Seniors Community Association.
Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 2:30 pm. We are located at the corner of Wharncliffe and Riverside Drive.
