Fast Facts:

  • Council for London Seniors is a voluntary, non-profit organization.
  • Members include seniors, service providers, and community members
  • Current membership stands at 140 members
  • Agency membership (groups/organizations) is 25
  • Members involved in committee work: 72

Issues and Activities:

  • Support area Caregiver Support Programs.
  • Publication of CLS INFO-LINE.
  • Identify barriers to recreation and the support of area programs.
  • Promotion of the inclusion of seniors from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
  • Membership events and social gatherings.

Goals and Objectives:

  • To advocate on behalf of older adults from a seniors perspective.
  • To provide a forum for a collective voice that is both diverse and inclusive.
  • To strengthen relations and collaborate with existing services, activities and organizations.
  • To facilitate education for older adults and to exchange information with the community and all levels of government.

The Council for London Seniors is a member of the Seniors Community Association.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 2:30 pm. We are located at the corner of Wharncliffe and Riverside Drive.
